I whole heatedly believe our Father has a sense of humor. How else would we now the healing power of joy and laughter? There is a season to laugh as well as a season to cry.

Just think of all the strange animals he made...the funniest of all is us...we're funny, bright, dumb and none of us look alike...He made us all different and the ability to laugh at ourselves. I do every time I do something stupid, I'm the first to laugh at me before anyone gets the chance...
Bless you Mike...I never miss your program at 6:30am on Sunday before I head to Holy Angels for Mass.

Love Ya!!!

I loved the movie "The Sting." When I walked out of the theater I was still laughing. Sometimes life is like that. It can seem overwhelming. But when you plod on, you discover bits and pieces of humor in the experience. Since God created us in his image, he must laugh at the human experience on occasion.

Yes, he has a sense of humor. The joy of the Lord is our strength. If life was just the 10 commandments and our imperfections, life would be depressing. I am sure our heavenly Father looks at us like we do a baby learning to walk and talk and wonders if we will ever make it. There are times I just ask God what he thinks of me now, I am sure we all humor him. Like someone said none of us look the same. In a family no 2 people are alike.

GOD humors us when we see our face in the mirror. Though others try to 'improve' their laughable face, they come out even more laughable. I think GOD just lolrotf on how we try to defy what is inevitable. Why not just laugh it off and GOD will amaze us who we really are.

It was at my mother's wake when we were saying the rosary. I happened to be looking at the floor beneath a prie deux in front of me. I saw some dust bunnies slowly moving. It brought to mind the saying "From dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return." That was immediately followed by the old joke that there was someone either coming or going. I had to stifle a laugh. Other mourners thought I was getting choked up by the sadness of the event. I never told them what had been going on.
